What was that old thread of DF's from years back....Something about his ' rules' as to what diamond size you should wear according to finger size...?

The "basic rule" for an RB is that you can go up to your ring size... in other words if you wore a size 6 ring then you can do a 6ct rb...

otoh my husband's ring size is 14, so if I ever want a giant rock to look at does that mean I can make him wear it? I mean, we'll need to become billionaires first, but details, pffff.
