I was at work late one night when I decided to pop over to Rubylane. Well it just so happened there was a 50% off sale going on... (of course I clicked it... who doesn't love a good 50% off deal!) After scrolling through hundreds of pictures, this little beauty caught my eye. I wasn't going to buy anything, but I just couldn't pass it up! The price was just too dang low

It's about a half carat transitional cut with a teensy tiny culet and amazing facet pattern. There are two sapphires on the carved shoulders. All in 18k white gold As a cool little bonus (for me a lover of fluorescence) it has medium YELLOW fluor. Like I said I love fluorescence, I also happen to love warm stones Best of both worlds as this stone is about a J or maybe K

On the hand. I love how androgynous some of these period pieces are. This would look just as great (probably better) on a woman's hand. Although... the better half says I have dainty lady fingers... 'Cept these dainty lady fingers can palm a basketball

And yes, you have dainty lady hands... at first I thought it must be pictured on your wife's hand. But it IS an androgynous ring, the chunkiness of it definitely makes it manlier. It looks great on you. I wish my SO would wear rings with any stones, I would have such a fun time picking them out!
