Hello PSers! I'm coming out of lurkdom to post my diamond half eternity band that was a first anniversary gift from my wonderful DH. Our first anniversary was yesterday and luckily the ring arrived just in time! After some initial communication snafus, Yekutiel personally contacted me to assure me that everything was going smoothly and the ring would arrive in time. I really appreciate his going the extra mile as this was my first experience with IDJ and I really wanted it to be positive. In the end, everything turned out perfectly and I'm already thinking about my next purchase! A special thanks must go to Luann for answering ALL of my questions and holding my hand through the entire process.
Here is my .65 ctw half-eternity band comprised of 9, 7 pointers in 14k white gold size 9 (unfortunate, I know). It is the shared prong setting and I asked for it to be set as low as possible. The diamonds are F-G, SI quality, and they are all eye clean. They are the pricescope quality stones and booyyyyy do the sparkle! They are so bright and certainly hold their own next to my other stones from WF and BG.
I was originally unsure about that size stones to get and I waffled between 5 to 10 pointers. The stone in my engagement ring is 1.255 and I think the 7 pointers are a great compromise. I'm planning to wear a thin rose gold spacer from junedesigns between my half eternity and my engagement ring to prevent rubbing - but it hasn't arrived yet.
