I am attending a wedding this Saturday and usually I don''t really have trouble accessorizing. But I am at a loss with what jewelry to go with this dress, clutch and shoes that I picked out. Would I be able to get away with white gold/diamond jewelry? I wasn''t sure since the clutch is rose gold and the shoes is pink and gold.

This is the dress:

The clutch:

And the shoes (sorry for the bad pic of my foot and the weird angle of my foot - my friend snaps the pic when I was sitting in the limo):

How about some drop dead chandeleir earrings with pink stones . Maybe a cuff in gold tone.
I personally wouldnt do a necklace with this neckline. White gold could work but maybe some faux jewells might be what''s needed.
Its a stunning dress and I''m sure your will look gorgeous

super cute dress!! i am on the hunt for a dress for my friend''s outdoor sonoma/napa wedding in june, can you tell me where you got it? i promise you and i won''t be wearing it to the same event...hehee.

Mara, I bought it at Macy''s. But I found it online at Nordstroms.com (that''s where I got the pic from). The designer is Adrianna Papell. It''s actually listed for $30 cheaper on the Nordstroms website than at the Macy''s store, but I got it during the Macy''s F&F and got 20% off (which end up being $10 cheaper than Nordstroms website). I was wondering I can get Macy''s to price match Nordstroms, but then I don''t know if they would price match and give the 20% off (especially since I found the Nordstroms price a couple weeks after the F&F thing). So I just left it.

I went to look for chandelier earrings and had a hard time finding gold tone ones. Yeah I don''t think a necklace would work.

Thanks.

The dress is super cute. I agree no necklace with a halter. Did you look for jewelry at nordstroms? They ususally have really pretty stuff.

Love the dress!!!

SO pretty! I second Nordstroms they are may favorite destination for hard to find earrings. Lord and Taylor is good too sometimes, if there is one near you.

Very pretty dress - I love the colors in it!

I hope I am not too late, but I defintely wouldn''t do a necklace either. White gold larger dangling earrings and perhaps a diamond or WG bracelet/ bangle or costume jewellery (not unlike those in the picture) would be just fine.

I like the dress a lot. It''s super pretty.

Have fun!!

Super cute dress! I think white gold would be fine. I don''t know how you feel about fakies, but, you could always look for some rose gold costume jewelry.

Darling dress!!!

White gold jewelry would be fine, but I really like the look of that big (plastic?) bangle the model is wearing... very springy/summery.
I''d probably leave the sparkle to my feet and clutch, and look for big colored (plastic or whatever) bracelet and drop earrings...

I do like the look of the bangle, but I can''t fit in any of the costume bangle I''ve seen. All the ones I tried on just fall right off my hands. I got a pair of gold drop earrings. I am still not sure what I am wearing yet. I might end up wearing my diamond bangle and hoop earrings. I just decide when I put everything on. Thanks everyone.

Have you tried kids'' departments for bangles that would fit you? I used to have to do this with shoes and sunglasses, and if you go to Nordstrom or someplace like that they usually have some really cute stuff in smaller sizes.

Is that bag Lauren Merkin? I think your jewelry is fine, but I might lean toward yellow gold, since the look is so warm overall. Love the dress and shoes and bag, I have a couple of Lauren Merkins and I love them.

Yeah it''s a Lauren Merkin clutch. It was on sale for 50% and got an additional 25% off. It was such a deal, so I got three different colors. hehe. I love the leather, so soft.

hehe QT i decided that i needed to get off my butt and get a dress for this wedding which is in 3 weeks but we are gone for 1.5 weeks of that time and i have nothing. so i got the cutest silk chiffon bronze dress at max studio today, then found pink strappy sandals at nordies and a super sheer pink shawl at forth and towne to match the pink accents in the embroidery on the dress. i have jewelry that will work so...whew...done!!! i didn't really feel like shopping for this kind of stuff today, but forced myself because we literally come back the weekend before the wedding and i know i would get nothing done all week.

so thanks for the motivation, seeing your thread made me realize i better just get to it and get it done!!

Mara, glad my thread helps. I love the brown and pink combo. For some reasons, I am always ready to go dress shopping for weddings. I am not as motivated for acessories.

I love that clutch... and at such a great deal! Where''d you get it? Online it''s 50% off which is great but that color isn''t on sale and I''d really like a metallic one.

It was under the sale section on laurenmerkin.com. The picture doesn''t really show the true color of the one I have. It''s more rose colored than the stock picture. Then I used a discount code for the additional 25% off.

Totally OT Jordin Sparks wore that dress (At least I think it's the same one) last week on American Idol it's wicked cute.

Ha VG, I noticed that she was wearing that dress last night on the show too and was thinking..qtiekiki is already on it..hehe...

I don''t watch American Idol, but I saw that pic in the newspaper. I was thinking, "hey, that''s my dress." hehe. Kind of weird and cool at the same time.

I ended up wearing my diamond hoops and bangle, which didn''t really show up in pictures. Too bad I didn''t have enough time to get accessories because I would''ve love to have wide pink bangle (which I will check out the kid''s section for). Teach me not to procrastinate with accessories next time.

Here''s a snap before we left the house:
