I saw my BF this weekend....

and it was awesome!! No he didnt propose but he took me our on a phenomenal date at a Romantic French restaurant in Coral Gables. It was wonderful!! It was so good to see him. A few weeks ago he asked me if I was opened to eloping or having a small wedding. FYI a small wedding isnt possible both our families are HUGE!! I also wanted to elope any ways. So i was totally open to eloping. He mentioned this conversation again and he hates that fact that we are long distance. So i really think he is going to propose in Dec when we see each other. I dont know if its when he come home for 2 weeks for his cousin's wedding and my graduation or the other two weeks when I go to his place for Christmas and New Years before I move to LA. I already miss him but I know its going to be ok!!!

OHH and sending dust to all the LIW!!!!

I'm married so I usually just lurk in this forum, but I saw "Coral Gables" and had to post lol. I went to UM and lived in the Gables for my 4 years of college, then worked near Miracle Mile for 2 more years after that Now I live in San Diego...far far away

My husband and I were long distance for a year before we decided to move in together and then elope shortly after. I say elope, but our families were fully aware of the wedding, we just didn't want anyone else there. Now I have tons of friends planning big weddings and they all say they wish they had done something simpler like I did.

I go to FIU (last semester yay!!!!) but we went to Pascal on Ponce, have you been there?? I'm moving back to LA to find a job lol. I mean being that this is the third time around we have long distance this has been the hardest because we do want to be with each other. Yeah all his family is having these large weddings and I honestly rather not even have the drama of it all. His cousin is getting married again to a friend of mines and she starting to become a little snarky and retarded now, especially after she told me that I need to dump my BF because he didnt love me because he didnt propose before he moved to NC (which he was unemployed and moving to start a new good paying job). Ive been with my BF for almost 5 yrs and she with her FI since Dec, and not to say I'm not happy for her but their situation isnt the fairy tale as they like to make it seem, he was going to propose to his ex that week they met...he dumped he and got with my friend a week later...so anywho, she is living with him and his parent now and they dont plan to move out after. Long story short she has been throwing some crappy remarks towards my way especially yesterday at lunch, she made a stupid comment in from of my BF family about me having my wedding planned already which really wasnt her business to announce and I ended up saying with the average cost of a wedding being almost 30K i rather buy a house than have a wedding any day that did shut her up quick. lol SO eloping it is!!!
