Thanks for the recommendation Kenny. I’m always looking for good shows to watch. Will check it out tonight.

FYI, FWIW, BTW, I don't think many people would have a good first impression of it.
I stuck it out a few eisodes since NTY wrote it belongs on their list of Netflix best 50 shows/films currently streaming.
Then I was hooked.

I just finished all 33 episodes ... binge style.

Ok Thanks for the heads up. I tend to give up quickly so I’ll definitely give it a chance

Also, it's subtitled in Hebrew and/or Yiddish.

I like international stuff.
Not that films and TV are an accurate reflection of the cultures they portray (think of Hollywood's drivel "portraying" America :knockout: ) but foreign films gives you some idea of the country.

I've noticed with some languages there's plenty of time for the subtitles to keep up with what the actors are saying.
But with Shtisel I had to hit pause and RW often, kinda annoying - but much less hassle than learning Hebrew. :wink2:

Oh, and I was wondering, have they updated the language's name to, "Shebrew, or "Theybrew"?
