Thank you all for the lovely comments. I am soooo in love with this stone. I'm planning on a titanium tension setting by Boone Rings in the next few months.

Davi before you commit to the titanium, how does the stone look with it? Have you got a titanium ring you can put by the side of it? The only reason I'm asking is that I don't think this colour diamond benefits from anything other than yellow gold. I hate to say it because I'm a lover of white gold/silver/platinum. Just thought I'd mention it in case ............

Setting is still up in the air right now, I've always wanted a tension ring, but I also want this sucker to pop! Or I might save a lot of my pennies and do the same setting my current mengagement ring is in. I just LOVE it. Plus, the extra oomph the gold will give it will make it nuclear.

As to his prices, it's been in the last few months his inventory has shrunk and prices increased, but that has been the trend everywhere. The price per carat from my favorite Indian vendor has doubled almost tripled.

I have real reservations that it will pop with that colour setting. I love the style but just not the metal colour. I have put a pale yellow in a w/gold setting and instantly regretted it. It made it cold and actually wiped out some of the colour. Thankfully it still performs but not as I know it could in yellow. Please put your gorgeous new stone next to some white gold or silver to see if you like the effect and then put next to yellow gold also (if you have both). Take your time to decide what's right for you. Don't be like me and impatiently set it and then get it wrong

Can you bezel it in yellow gold, then use titanium for the rest of the ring?

Davi I hope you don't mind but I just want to show you the difference. I suspect that both of these centre stones are a similar colour to yours. The first one is set with yellow claws but in a w/gold setting. The colour is sucked out of it. Believe it or not, the heart shape diamond is probably lighter in colour but just look what the yellow gold bezel setting has done to it!
