This was the first gem show I''ve been to since the ''80s. in NYC... it was the InterGem Gem & Jewelry Show in Santa Monica. What possessed me to throw on those high heeled boots before I left.... I don''t know. My dogs were barkin''.
I know it''s not a major show, but I was still overwhelmed. Flashing beads, shiny crocodile purses, high carat gold, meteorites, crap, treasures... I did get to finally see Phelps''e & Me''s benitoites, though - they sparkle like mad. I found that I liked the less expensive pale blue ones the best. I still want to do a bennies by the yard piece in the future...
The estate piece were really the best stuff there, to me, but it was all pretty overwhelming!
