Hi! I saw this ring that I think is really cute but it has so much pave... anyone has experience (good or bad) with such designs?

Oh ya it’s in 18k wg/yg with diamonds, yellow diamonds and black diamonds.

That is some serious bling! I like it :))

Do you know who it was made by?

Yes and I’ll share after I’ve made the decision to buy or not

Uh ok one “no” response so far...

If you love it, go for it! As long as you're not expecting it to be an everyday ring, should be ok. for the record, i love it

You can rock this ring! It has quite a bling factor, but is beautifully made which makes it stylish and fun!
I voted yes.

Think it's gorgeous!

If you love it, go for it! That's all that matters :mrgreen2:

Thanks everyone who has responded so far! I do like it but the micro pave really worries me as I’ve had bad experience with diamond falling out of the micro pave setting before... any thoughts on that?

That's the kind of ring I would anticipate wearing once or twice a month perhaps and I would baby it so for me I would not be overly concerned providing it is a high quality piece in the first instance.

This doesn't seem like an every day ring so I wouldn't worry so much about it getting dirty or losing a stone. I say get it!

I think its a beautiful ring (though not for every day, IMO) and if you occasion to wear it and are prepared to baby it due to all the pave, go for it! It is stunning!

If your super worried maybe you should pass? If you get it I wonder if it would stress you out too much to wear and then you wouldn’t wear it.

Where/when do you see yourself wearing this? Definitely not an everyday ring in my opinion. If it’s for occasional wear and you love it and know that...Go for it.

It took me a moment to see the bee! I think it would be a fun occasional cocktail ring.

I’d keep it, but as something to wear on an occasion, it would certainly be a talking point! It may need extra care being cleaned, but if it wasn’t being wirn that often I’d live with that. If it was me I’d go for it!!!

I voted no because the bee looks poorly done, and kind of spider-like. Its body and appendages look like a blob.

Examples of better bees:

If you really like it and you have the spare money and won't be eating into any important savings (or going into debt), I say go for it - even if you only wear it once a month, you will enjoy seeing it in the jewellery box :))

i think it's gorgeous. I don't know the quality of the diamonds (did you mention it?), but - assuming they're acceptable quality - I'd go for it. I love a creative, different looking ring. Reminds me very much of the VCA multi-finger rings.

I vote yes! It makes me want to wear it with a black dress while sitting in some swanky hotel bar sipping a martini :lickout:

Wow, I'd love to have that as a brooch, lol. I love it. If the pave work is done well then you shouldn't have an issue with it.

HI:

I think it is a beekeeper!

cheers--Sharon

The gang bring up a good point that I didn't think of @icy_jade

I am the kind of person who would wear this out to eat a burger so I didn't think about how often you would wear this. If you are more reserved and would only wear it on suitable occasions then that is something to think about too.

Hehe I am out so see friends and their young children today for pasta and am all blinged up!

The amount of pave itself wouldn't bother me as I would expect to baby this ring when I'm wearing it. Instead, I'd be more concerned about for what occasions would I actually wear it. As PPs said, if you can see yourself wearing it often enough to make you happy, then I would totally buy it!

I totally think you should get it! It’s fun and will be a talking point. You would have to wear it carefully but it’s definitely doable!

C8F314AD-EEB9-4222-9134-D4B72047FB34.jpeg I love bees. My daughter saved the life of this little guy when he collapsed on her window ledge. She fed him some sugar water and he flew off happy as can be!

Wear it for the bees!

It would be nice if this could be a pendant, then you wouldn’t worry about the micro-pave as much.

Thanks everyone! In the end I decided not to buy as the pave worries me. I did go back and took some photos along with another butterfly one that caught my eye...

Not my finger/hand... I found someone with much slimmer fingers to model for me. :)

FWIW I’ll have worn it to work and weekends with jeans...
