Sorry folks, this isn’t true. We have occasionally allowed it in specific threads, but unfortunately what is a vendor’s own item and what is for sale is often fluid and as a result we have had problems in the past. So we do not allow it for this reason, as it’s a back door way to self promote for some folks.

Oh it must be the specific threads thing I was thinking of!
