Ideal Scope or ASET in Seattle?

My very special lady and I are in the process of diamond shopping. Does anyone know of somewhere in the Seattle area I might be able to get an Ideal Scope or an ASET? Borrowing or buying used would be fine with me.

We''re shopping for Round only at this time. Which tool would be more useful? We saw what an ASET can show at one of the mall stores, and the jeweler we''re working with at the moment has a "Hearts and Arrows" scope. I haven''t seen any rocks through an Ideal Scope yet.

idealscope is enough for round, basically the same thing, just different less and different zone coloration.

I do not know who has one to sell you but if you cannot find one in Seattle why not just buy a new one? It is not that expensive anyway.

Stone has given you the links, I would just add that an ASET scope is the more versatile tool as it can show both leakage and lightreturn, moreover it can also be used for fancy shapes should you ever decide to buy a fancy in the future. The ASET basic model is $50.

ideal-scope.com appears to be in Australia. I was hoping to find something sooner. If I could find a mail-order company in the US that can do 1-2 days shipping, I''d do that.

They ship from the US so shouldn''t be a problem.
