Idealscope on mounted diamond

Is it possible to use an Idealscope to look at a mounted stone? I know the prongs will get in the way, but will I be able to get a pretty decent image?

yes but it wont look like the chart a lot of times so hard to interpret the first time you see it because you cant get good back lighting in the setting.
aset is even better, because aset black is designed with the back lighting blocked so the results are closer to what is expected to be seen.
Both work however it just takes some creative interpretation of the IS results.
