So I have a 1.5 brilliant cut diamond set in a solitaire ring set which look so much like an engagement ring. But I am now engaged and I stopped wearing it cuz it looks like I am wearing 2 engagement rings one on each hand. Do u guys have any ring setting idea so I can reset it into a cocktail ring so I can wear on my right hand? Thanks!!!

Its the bottom ring in the picture.

You can't go wrong with a 3 stone...you can even choose sapphires as the sides

I think a three or a graduated 5 stone would work

or a colored stone halo

or a more interesting shank

also i think putting it in a different color metal than your E ring might help

Oh you're a lucky girl! I like Niel's idea for a cocktail style ring, with coloured stones halo around it. Though yssie's trellis ring is just to die for but might still be too engagement-like? Ultimately stick with a style you love and don't worry about it being mistaken for another e-ring. It just means you're twice as lucky ;)

+1
I also love the idea of adding some colored stones to break up the pure engagement look!
I actually matched up 2 rounds and made earrings. (Rounds scream engagement to me - maybe because that's what all the women in my family had.)

Thank u all so so much!! The one with ruby looks so cute!

No ideas here for a cocktail ring. In fact I'm wondering what they call a cocktail ring these days? But I do like my recent reset. It's not my e-ring either, it was just a second diamond. I first put it in a solitaire setting because I never had one and I wanted to road test different types of settings. But I realized two years later that I'm definitely *not* a solitaire girl despite the luxury of being able to wear countless different bands with a solitaire. So I'll post a pic of my new ring, which can of course, be worn as a RHR. It's a Gabriel & Co. setting purchased from IDJ on 47th St. (I'm sorry they came out so big!)
