I love the one on your hand, do you already have it? If it were me I keep it if i had it in hand vs sending it back for something similar or smaller. as long as you are ok with the color i say keep what you have

We don't have it yet but plan on wiring over the funds and waiting for it to be shipped to pick up on Friday of next week. Hopefully it works out but the other two are the back ups!

There's hardly any difference in mm size between the GOG one and the F from excel. You know that I absolutely wouldn't buy anything with a feather on the edge and you will absolutely notice a huge color difference between an F and an I!!!!!!!!! This, for me, is absolutely a no brainer!! I know you're being told to go the GOG route, but in this case, between these stones, I would absolutely not.

Im not tElling her to do anything, im saying for me i truly couldnt care about the difference between an i or an f, and i would want the highest ct eyeclean stone as I could get, becuase that stone is bigger, and if you dont see it face up youll see it elsewhere and you dont alway stare at a ring head on.

Also i prefer near colorless to colorless I prefer the softer more romantic colors. Thats why i would choose those, thats all.

It's clear that this really comes down to personal preference on how color sensitive you are, but just to add my 2 cents...the GOG diamond is gorgeous. I held my breath for a second when I saw it and maybe I have an untrained eye, but I think it looks pretty white. We also don't know the pricing on the GOG, so you'll need to assess which one is better in terms of size, color, and price (if price is a consideration, that is).

That being said, it's also different analyzing a stone set in a ring on your finger and a loose stone, so maybe the others will sparkle just as much or more...but i think whichever route you go, you'll end up with something gorgeous. And if you send the GOG back, let me know, maybe i'll take a look!

Both are actually the same price. 12k, will definitely let you know once the stone is shipped! Thanks for your input

Did I miss this...they are all eye-clean or prongable? My initial reaction would be to go with the F since its so much higher
in color but after looking at the inclusion plot map I'm not sure I could get over that (mind clean issue for me). So that would
leave me with the GOG stone. I couldnt find the GIA report for that stone to check out the inclusion plot so it could all
be a wash.
