4RG, I was going back to look at your thread "Thought I would share" yet again, and how nice to see you here in the vault still wearing the very first necklace from that thread. I know it has been switched up a bit, but I can still pick out from this photo several of the distinct pearls in that piece. Love that necklace, and how nice to see that it is still a favorite of yours. It goes beautifully with your coloring and has such lovely pearls. Wonderful to see it layered with your newer piece. Just beautiful.

Truthfully there is not a bad choice because they are all wonderful. Choose with your heart and you won't go wrong. Hisano pulled the pearls for you and Jeremy thought the big white one was one of the best he has seen.

Here's a picture of the souffles that were shown on the recent PP trip. I'm really loving 2 of these but I've also asked for "non-glamour" shots to see what they look like "normally". I'd love to hear your input! BTW the small ones are approx 14mm and the largest is 22 x 29 mm!

Jeremy matched 2 strands of these with the bigger pearls. In the picture you can see there is one dark and a lighter strand on the table. As for price you need to email and ask them that.

These Vietnamese akoyas are very special because of the very thick nacre. It will be 2 years before this farmer will have more of these too. So glad you like yours. I love the baroque shape because it is just dripping nacre.

After seeing the photos of the loose Tahitian rounds that 4RG posted here a few days ago, I asked Jeremy to help me find something similar to a blue pearl that was photographed. He managed to find four of them. I have decided on which pearl I want but I am curious what you all would have chosen.

After seeing the Vietnamese Akoyas on the chat with 4RG, I also asked him to help me find a strand which he thinks is of the nicest colour and luster. He selected two strand. Posting the photos to provide some eye candy for you gals ( cos I love looking at photos of pearls myself )
