Ditto. I have a friend with your same ring size and a 1.3 oval, and your stone looks a bit larger than her stone. But I'm really bad at guessing sizes, especially for ovals.

It's gorgeous!

ETA: I change my guess: I think it's closer to 2 cts than to 1.5.

DRUMROLL PLEASE....................................................lol
The stone is 1.76 carats

and measures 9.63mm X 7.11mm
It faces up pretty large and has a fantastic spread on it! It truly is a beautiful stone! I don''t experience any loss of light return, it shows a lot of fire in the sun

and doesn''t have a bowtie! The most frequently asked question I get about my ring is the carat size. Most people ask me if its around 2.5, some ask if it''s 3. I definately attribute that to the stones spread. I was curious to see what you ladies thought too! Lots of fun reading everyones replies!! I think my snausage fingers also put a monkey wrench in the size guessing lol Many thanks to all of you once again for your help through the process!! Always glad to get more oval pics out there for others to see!!
