Thanks for all the support, ladies!!! We got to SF last night and he''s asked me about the Golden Gate, oh, about 10 times since we got here. Like "would you be willing to walk across it?" or "are we going to cross it on the way from the airport?" or "can we see it from here?" etc.... I''m terrified of bridges and that''s kind of been an ongoing theme with us... he''s been "helping me get over it" or whatever, but he also knows how much I love SF and the golden gate, plus he gave me a painting of it our first Christmas together... so I''m thinking that may be part of his plan... but we won''t be there until tomorrow. Today we''re going to Chinatown and Union Square and meeting some friends for lunch and having dinner with my cousin (the one dad wanted me to take to Napa with us!) so I''m thinking it won''t be until tomorrow! but that''s fine!!! I''ll report back!

Nothing yet, ladies, and I'm getting really annoyed... though trying not to, of course!

We ended up going to the GG on Tuesday, over to the Marin headlands, and then dinner in Sausalito. It was beautiful and it would have been absolutely perfect, but nothing.

We were on the beach... we were overlooking the pacific, we were overlooking the GG, we were in the most beautiful settings I could have imagined, and I was just really expectant, but nothing.

After dinner we went back to SF and were on Baker beach, looking at the other side of the bridge, to watch the sunset, and nothing! I was trying not to scream! On Wednesday, we went to the Japanese Tea Garden, we had dinner at the Cliff House... nothing! Yesterday we went to Muir Woods and on a 3 mile hike, he kind of freaked me out because he was walking in front of me and he turned around and said "stop for a second" and I was thinking "is this it???" but he just wanted to know what that sound was... it was my jeans swishing. ARGH!!!

I'm such a freakin' impatient LIW right now!

We got to Napa last night and had dinner at the Culinary Institute of America... a fabulous building with beautiful gardens. nada.

So this morning he asked me what I was thinking as I was staring off into space and I said "nothing"

because I didn't want to tell him how upset I was that he hasn't done it yet and that I really hope he does it today... because if he is going to, I didn't want to ruin it, but if he isn't, I still want to enjoy the day. The limo will be here in less than an hour to take us on our winery tour. It has to be today. It just has to.

Literally going nuts here, but otherwise having a FABULOUS time.

Oh, and we finally have free internet, so I'll be back tonight to report in, whatever the news.

I'm off to breakfast now. I hope your fingers aren't too blue from being crossed!

Wow, this is very reminiscent of a trip I took a month ago, only longer! Hang in, girl, I am sure yours will have a happier "ending." I just don''t get why guys want to drag it out instead of doing it right away and enjoying the rest of the trip as a newly engaged couple! ARGH! Anyway, the winery should be awesome and I am crossing my fingers for you as much as you are!! Can''t wait for your next update
