And this one has a funny story...the choir that he was in when he lived in Slovenia always puts together some funny thing at the wedding to "honor" the couple when one of their ones ties the knot. So they did this skit about him and he was always chasing a girl in each scene. Then the girl turned out to be "me" so they made a beauty pageant sash with my name on it and made him wear it. It was funny but before I knew the girl he was chasing we me, well I was a bit annoyed, I''ll admit! (A person has to have very thick skin with their sense of humor, which is fine now that I know it''s not just me!!)

Okay last one and last funny story.

Around 4am the singer stopped singing and was just playing the music on his keyboard. He told me he was saving his voice for a choir concert the next day but that anyone who knew the words to the songs he played could take the mike and go for it. (A step above Karaoke since there was no screen with lyrics.) I requested "I love Rock and Roll", went upstairs to our room and changed into jeans and t-shirt, came down and the musician started playing the song while I lived out my rock star fantasy! It shocked the hell out of my husband and for the rest of the night we sang 80s songs while the musician played! It was like my 8th grade wedding fantasy when he put on "The Reflex" by Duran Duran and I took the mike and knew every single word. God we had fun...we sang until almost 6am, only realizing how late it was when the sky started getting light outside. Anyways, here are my husband, maid of honor and some friends doing a version of some 80s song...

The live singing in the wee hours of the morning sealed it as my all time favorite wedding I ever attended!

In the end, it was exactly what I wanted (but about twice the number of roses as I had in the trial runs which was why I panicked!) so I love looking at it in the pictures. And Tomaz was really proud of me for trying to save my mom some money so I always think of that too.

And the hair by the end of the night, no longer holding a curl. She put a glaze on my hair the week before the wedding so that the ends, which are really dry and that makes them look lighter, blended in better with the rest of the hair. I think the glaze made it more shiny too.

SnowHappy: I worked on my shoulders more than anything, so thank you! I read somewhere that the fastest way to make your arms look buff is to focus on the shoulders. That, and the lack of appetite for 3 weeks before the wedding, is what did it.
