I'm Waffling! Please help with setting my tsav!

Your tsavorite is beautiful, Suzanne! I completely understand waffling about a design and then deciding you don't want to do something just to redo it later. I've sat on some stones for years before doing anything...although that time is usually spent sketching and saving. Anyhow, you already have a ton of great ideas, but I figured I'd add a few more unique options to the pile.

Thanks for the gorgeous pictures. The first one speaks to me because is looks like a horseshoe and I've been around horses all of my life. And the third one is a classic.
I just received some preliminary CADs from DK for the first setting I posted, the sapphire halo one. Luckily, CADs are easily changed because I'm still not set on it (not sure DK would agree )
The one I'm leaning towards now is the one Elle posted

but I have some reservations. I don't know anything about yellow diamonds or how much they cost. I'm going to call DKJ today and actually speak to a human. This email stuff is frustrating because it's so unemotional and detached. I'm old school (meaning I'm OLD) and want someone to soothe me lol.

That's a gorgeous ring, for sure. Do some digging on the yellow diamonds and then decide. Keep us posted! And yes, CADs can easily change. I went through probably 6-8 for my red spinel ring. Lots of tweaking, so don't worry about it. You'll get there. You don't have to be old school to want to talk to a live person. haha I feel the same way, although I'm sure I could be classified as old too. ha

I could see this design being inspired by a lotus or similar flower. Funny how we all spot different things
