So I rarely watch "Dr 90210" but when I saw the preview of a woman wanting to impant a 3 ct in her wrist I HAD to watch. Still waiting to see if the Doc lets her. Anyone else watching?

Oh my... that''s all I can say... wow.

*M*

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, Tacori! I was just about to post something about that!

WHO does that? Gross! What a waste of a 3 carat diamond too. Yuck.

I am watching this while I type. WTF is wrong w/ this woman. SERIOUSLY have you SEEN the BLING. Why on EARTH? Some people baffle the MIND!

Wait...I''ve never watched this show (I''m not sure if I''ve heard of it either.) Why does she want to implant a diamond in her wrist?

I know SOOOOOO gross. Sounds dangerous. I will be really surprise if the surgery is approved.

So it is always with her

Okay glad the doc said no but they are working on devices to make this possible?!? I am sorry but who else in their right mind wants this done? Besides she could easily damage the diamond (as well as her body) if it was impanted.

Interesting...but I can''t imagine it''ll be much use underneath your skin. Yikes.

No she wants it flush with her skin.

Oh sorry I didn''t know that...that''s just weird.

OMG, that''s insane!!!

There is something seriously wrong with that woman. She was on Howard Stern today and he told her she didn''t need anymore plastic surgery, that she needed psychological therapy. Her face is scary fake looking. She just looks very strange.

I''m glad the dr. couldn''t do that to the diamond. What a waste of a diamond and it''s just GROSS. She cried when the dr. told her he couldn''t do it.

You know... for that to work, wouldn''t they have to drill a hole in her bone or something? And that diamond is so sharp it would cut her on the inside, right? That''s it. The woman''s insane.

*M*

IrishAngel- no worries. I am sure you could have never imagined such a thing! Think about the lack of light performance.

I wonder what the devices they invent will be like. Ahhh....couldn''t they use that money and resources to advance the medical field is a BETTER way?!?

all I keep picturing is her wanting it in the middle of her forehead and someone hammering it in with a hammer!!!

That is just plain vile.

I couldn''t believe she cried either!!! I agree, she has a gross looking face. She looks like a horse. I wonder what she looked like *before* all the surgeries. I bet she would have been prettier.

How would she clean it?

I just watched this stupidity in AWE! The diamond was blingtastic though!

LOL, I had to laugh...what true PSers...most of the responses here were more like "Why would you do that to a diamond?" instead of "why would you do that to yourself?" Hee hee.

Some people in the world are really mental. I would really hate to be inside the mind of a person like that. I have a mental image of me drowning in green goo.

Well, it''s true! It''s a waste of a perfectly beautiful diamond. Clearly that woman cannot be saved from her madness, why sacrifice such a gorgeous stone!!

so true. ha ha ha hah hahahahahahaha!

that was exactly what i thought, also-- how would you clean it?

I''m on the east coast and it''s on now. I can''t imagine a diamond or any other object implanted into skin--That is a visual I just cannot fathom. What would it adhere to? Would it jiggle around? Float? How can someone with that kind of rock not understand how light works and that it needs constant cleaning all around? This is just gross beyond words. Now her rear end is being worked on...

That chick is crazy - she loves the attention though and I think that is why she is always on that show - she is a **** star

OMG gross!!!

I saw a commercial for that episode. Sounded totally gross! I was totally thinking, I hope the girdle isn''t too thin and the culet too pointed...

This same woman was featured on an earlier show getting an anal bleaching. So, uh yeah, she''s just a little bit nutty. I guess "it" has to look perfect on camera. Whatever a perfect "it" looks like.

Ya know, I''ve been thinking, how could you actually do it? And I came up with this, based on a dental implant procedure.

You''d set the diamond in a setting like an earring stud, but the post would be much longer, with a place on the end to "snap" or screw into place, surgeons choice. lol. Then the receiving end would be implanted into your wrist bone. After that heals, go back in and secure post. The diamond and setting would sit just on top of your wrist. It would have to be done in a couple stages, and I guess the incision would heal around the post......

I think it might work. Who''s first??
