Implanting diamonds?!!?

Would it be kind of like a nose stud? Ew, I just had a mental image of having a small stud implanted in her wrist and then larger and larger studs put in over time until it stretched to hold her 3 ct., like I see some people do with ear lobes. Why didn''t she just put it in her nose? If she''s a **** star, then she could always opt for *more* places to pierce... (Big ew.)

No, the way I am envisioning it, the bottom of the setting would be just, and I mean by a hair, above the skin on her wrist.The skin would heal around the post going down into her wrist, and it would look like the diamond was just sitting there by itself on top of her wrist.

She is odd and is addicted to surgery...and the doctor said he cannot do it NOW but at some point he might...he needed to investigate it...but he is not unwilling to do it. How sick is that?

I didn''t know she is a **** star. She says she works in construction on the show. I thought she was wack to have a diamond inplanted in her wrist when she works so much with her hands and arms. And I thought that it would be dangerous for her.

I'm sort of shocked that she found a dr. to do it, knowing full well that she was addicted to surgery. I'd think that a doctor wouldnt want to work on someone with an addiction to surgery just b/c it really isnt helping any sort of problem and probably doing more harm than good...

As far as the implantation goes, that's really weird, but I've seen things like it before especially in harvard square and northhampton, MA...the girl who pierced my nose had implanted balls IN her forarms so you could see a series of balls going up and had labret stud horns coming out of her forehead. Kinda scary but she did a good job on my nose and was really nice, just wierd.

Tabitha is a super freak though--she did one of her movies and actually suspended herself on hooks--they showed it on the beginning of the Dr. 90210...I know I shouldn't judge but that's just nuts...

She is kinda scary. SHe said if her skin drooped she''d freak out. She had anal bleaching done too, and has left to move to Utah with a boyfriend. As a doctor I would never take this on, too much mental stuff going on!

No, she mentioned she does adult films. The construction project they were doing was a set for their new film. I would think it would be dangerous as well.

He said they were coming up with "devices" to make it possible. He acted like other people have requested this. So very strange.

Ooooh, I just remembered what it was that this was trying to remind me of (lol)--does anyone remember the movie "Logan''s Run?" Remember the red glowing thing on the inside of their wirists???? When it started blinking, it was near the end of their lives. Remember that?? I don''t know why I related that to the diamond on the wrist, but it did ring a bell!
Well, on another thought, it could be a nipple piercing...but then, she''d need one of those plastic disk thingees that would keep it from drooping. Oh...I think I''m digressing... maybe I need a tripple mocha shot (whatever it was that kid in the other thread ordered...yawnnn--it''s getting late here on the east coast...)

Julian, I COULD not believe what I was seeing, but as an adult film star I guess a pristine you know what is a key to success!!!! I cracked up though, told my dh I had NOW seen it all...til the diamond implanting request...she needs psychiatric help, not MORE procedures. What will happen when she cannot find another doc to do things to her? She would get suicidal.

YIKES. That is such an off-limits place, I can''t even THINK about it!

I did catch part of that episode later. She was talking about her cheek implants; and I have to admit, despite all the surgeries, she is a very striking. I hope she doesn''t end up like Michael Jackson. If she stops now, she may get to age gracefully and not look too unnatural.
