need some help



the first one has inclusion to edge.. could it be a durability issue? should it be avoided?

OOh, I will be interested in what everyone has to say! :)
ARe the diamonds different prices / different grades?
Both look worthy of futher interest.
Don't forget, the inclusions are mapped out on a 2D drawing, but are not likely to be all 'right on the surface' as the map appears to show.
 
they are both G and VS 2. priced similar
 
Feathers and needles near or on the edge of the girdle are relatively common in lower clarities and should not compromise the durability or integrity of the stone. The stone in question will not break or chip externally because there is a feather and needle in those parts.
 
I agree, at VS2 the inclusion won't affect the stones durability. I believe that the general consensus is inclusions at I1 and lower can cause durability issues, occasionally an SI2 depending on type and location.

Another thing about an inclusion on the edge is that it could be concealed easily by a setting prong. So I would go for a low-level edge inclusion over a low-level center inclusion.
