On Lab Reports from GIA and more so from AGSL.....
(1)On the lab report plotted diagrams, inclusions look to be computer generated, how close to actual 'size'?
(2)Why do some reports show 8, 9 or more inclusions with (clouds, crystal, needle, feather) on say a VS2 and others only show 1 or 2 inclusions (crystal) or maybe a (crystal, needle) on a VS2 and both with same additional notations if any?
(3)What type of inclusions have the most effect on grading?
(4)Do AGSL & GIA use stronger than a 10x at any time grading for clarity?
(5)Do AGSL or GIA plot any inclusions on the diagrams that are not used in the clarity grade?
(6)Does AGSL & GIA use defined standards that include the number, size, type, and location to determine clarity grade?
I am not sure I am asking these questions correctly, many of the AGSL lab reports show VS stones with many inclusions plotted and then other stones where there is 1 or 2 plotted with the same grade and both reports have the same notations.
