Thank you all soooo much for the warm welcome and kind words I love bezels and DBL does a fantastic job with them(I''ll post another bezel ring soon) and I always love each piece of my jewelry to be unique in some way.

LuckyTexan-As far as the Kite cut goes, I''ve maybe heard shield cut for a similar cut and there is no one in particular that I know of that cuts them.

Part Gypsy-LOL, I will have to join you in drinking a "pink lady'' in her honor

gemgirl-I too love pears, she''s a little fat on the bottom, but I still love her! My hubby bought me the pink from an estate jeweler in Virginia, but DBL has some lovely ones at fantastic prices.

AdiS-I don''t know, I guess I really try to wear all my jewelry-but somehow she doesn''t get into the rotation all that often---need to try harder to do so

2.14ct Light Yellow EC set in 18kt YG Floating bezel with .53ctw FIY Step Cut Traps with a Plat shank. They once again executed my design beautifully with exceptional work on the bezels

I LOVE your pink diamond... so pale and gorgeous! I love the pale pinks and yellows... really defines them as diamonds!

I too have just come out of lurkdom. I saw your question gemgirl. Here is where my fiance bought mine:

Google fancy diamonds. It should be the first result after the sponsored links. He seemed pretty pleased with them. A year after he bought it, the stone appraised for about $400 more than he paid. We recently had it reset and our jeweler said the Argyle mine -- where they find most of the pink diamonds -- will probably be minded out in 10 years.

Sorry. I''ve been MIA. Busy planning my wedding in two weeks! I''m new

It''s a .31, VS2 Emerald cut. I think the correct color term is "fancy brownish-pink." My fiance wanted to get me something unique and he knew pink was my favorite color and my favorite cut was Emerald. He spent months finding it. It was really sweet, but the original setting made it look cheap, so I was never completely in love with it. Fortunately, it didn''t look good with any wedding bands I tried on, so I got this new setting

. And now I stare at my finger all the time. It has two matching bands that go with it. The setting is from Jared''s. I was actually really impressed by them.
