I have been a longtime lurker and decided to finally join in the fun.

I somewhat recently moved to the Bay area to be closer to my fiance, as we lived 2000 miles apart for a long time We have been engaged for a while but haven''t made a single plan for the wedding. Now that we are together, we need to start working on getting everything organized. Until I start planning
I may not have a lot to contribute to BWW, but wanted to introduce myself.

i just recently moved to california w/my fiance too. (not near the bay area though.) it''s quite an adjustment, but i''m sure it''s wonderful for you to be near FI. are you planning your wedding in the bay area or are you long distance planning?

lulu66 - We are planning on having the wedding in this area, preferably in wine country. I moved from the Chicago area and I don''t want to plan a
wedding long distance. (Which is part of the reason I hadn''t planned anything until I moved here!) Plus we want a small wedding which would be
more difficult in Chicago. We have looked at some venues in wine country but most are so expensive it is hard for me to justify that expense for just
30 people. We need to keep looking and just make a decision.
