When someone in the trade finds Loupe Troop and posts pages and pages of stuff I get irritated :angryfire:

i would rather see what members are posting. I know I’m not being nice. It’s Monday and I’m grumpy.

Literally hundreds. And more coming by the minute.

Sometimes I wonder what goes through people’s heads. What could render them so incapable of reading the room, what could have suggested that an intrusive barrage would be welcome.

too bad there is not an auto report feature. enough of us send in a complaint and they are banned. It says right in TOS it is not for commercial use.

Not only is it irritating, but it's really unfair to those individual sellers who may have just one or two listings. Those few listings end up lost in a sea of commercial listings.

So annoying! I'm actually holding off on listing something, otherwise it would just get lost!!

I really wish there was someone we could contact about this. Litterally the first bullet point on the TOS: "You agree not to spam the Loupe Troop and Loupe Troop users"

If I recall correctly from the mists of time, the site was originally created by a PSer just as a lark to help the community. I think someone's boyfriend or something wrote the code :lol-2: . And I guess they make a little money from the advertising. But I don't think they ever planned to "moderate" the site at all.

LT has this email listed as a way to contact them (at the bottom of their privacy policy): [email protected]
Maybe someone who's a registered user can shoot them a message.

Looks like that address doesn't exist anymore! Or I did it wrong :lol-2:

I'm so irked by this spam user I may mail a letter to loupetroop at the address on their privacy policy...

LOL! I confess that I also found the plethora of..."stuff" on LT over-the-top, and have considered spammin' them right back with a gazillion emails. That's my Walter-Mitty moment—there isn't enough time in my day to do this.

If my memory serves me, several years ago when the excessive "commercial" listings began, didn't LT limit their posts to six?

I was going to suggest that there be a limit on the number of listings allowed to be active at once. Didn't realize there may already be a rule about that.

Frustrating to the nth degree, my friend.

I literally was on Loupe Troop, got annoyed at all the listings by the same vendor and came to PS preloved for a bit of sanity, only to find this thread! Glad that I'm not alone in feeling irritated by the number of listings.

Last time (threads) LT was down
I wonder if anyone of the PS’ers who volunteered to help out with mod duties reached out with that offer?

I’m sure this all sounds easier than actually doing it.

I’d rather scroll and scroll and scroll thru LT spam than not have it available at all.

Is there a reason that contact information cannot be included in the "Preloved PS Jewels" section as I find the whole Loupe Troupe experience to not be the best. Just a suggestion.
