I agree in picking battles. I haven''t even talked to sis beyond the original "gaudy" comment and I haven''t argued with the BMs at all.

Oh, and sis has always been/will always be the pretty one. Another reason why I just don''t get it.

I would just wear the wedding band. It is a small concession on your part and it might make her feel better, or at least her other BMs.

HAHA. Actually I would probably do just what you are doing - play it down for the ceremony to reduce the drama, but put it on for the reception. S

I would think that if you are carrying a bouquet of flowers, your ring wouldn''t even show.

But if it were me, I would just ignore everyone and wear whatever wedding set I was wearing on a regular basis.
