So I may have come across a deal too good to be true...
Although the clarity sucks (I1-I2), I found a pre-loved 3 ct eternity ring, that the seller is willing to sell to be for $900.
The seller seems really nice and honest, and isn't hiding the true clarity.

Do you think a 3 ct eternity band is worth $900?

Depends on if you are going to be happy with it. It's probably an ok price but are you going to wear it and stare at the inclusions all day? If so than it's not worth the money. If you are ok with seeing inclusions when you look at it and just like the large diamond band look than go for it.

Personally it would bug me too much and in the end I probably wouldn't wear it and thus the money would have been wasted.

Are you going to wear it by itself or next to a really nice diamond? If you wear it next to a well-cut diamond, this band might always look "dirty" and dull because it won't sparkle as much.

Good things come to those who wait. save a little more and buy something you love and don't have to second guess as a purchase. I think we all know the answer but just want it validated. I think most of us would wait for better quality stones. We all love instant gratification but I think you should wait. it is pretty. But true you'll start noticing the inclusions and then be sad you spent $900

I'm looking at buying one myself in the next two weeks. It looks like it has carbon spots. That would drive me nuts. I think I am going to sacrifice size for well cut stones.

Maybe she will send it to you for a 3 day look see. Just make sure it is stated that you have the option to return it. If it is the one on DB it has been there for a long time. I have a 7 stone diamond band and a 3 stone pendant that I inherited. All the diamonds are probably I1-I2. I have to say that they are great little performers and I can't see the black unless I loupe them. Does she know the color? I think that if the color was above an I and the cut is decent, all you should worry about is if it sparkles on your hand.
You need to remember that most of the diamond jewelery walking around outside of PS is just like this eternity. You will not get many here that would settle for anything less than SI.

It's been on LoupeTroop for 4 months, it looks like.
I don't think it's the same one on DB.. it's diff ct weight and size.

I would probably buyIt. That's a lot of coverage for the price. Unless you're going to see the inclusions every time you look at it, no one else will notice. Also depends on how you are going to wear it...next to a much better quality diamond, on its own etc..good luck!

It was posted on DB for a while. Is it the one that was purchased from "overstock.com"? Says H-I-J color and I1 I2 clarity.
I would have to agree that if you are going to wear it next to a really well cut diamond, the I1 I2 will not make you happy!
