Is there a specific term for this type of halo setting?

Hi fellow Pricescopers,

I have often wondered if there is a specific term for the type of halo settings pictured below. The halo is ‘interrupted’ by two gems of a different shape/cut and sometimes a different colour. The shank also rises up higher than a ‘standard’ halo where there is no interruption with a different shaped gem. The shank effectively connects to the top surface of the ring rather than underneath it. Thanks in advance. 1604313755740.jpeg1604313923407.jpeg

Halo, interrupted? J/K. Not sure. Maybe someone knows.

Just show them the picture case solved. This is what I did for our custom pendant.

It's possible that there may not be a specific term for it, or if there is, it isn't widely used. I was just wondering, that's all.

I am studying gemmology next year. Chances are there will be a jeweller in the class who I can ask.
