Hi petrock, I don''t think there''s a specific thread for yellow diamonds so thanks for starting one!

There are several of us here that have them so I hope they chime in, especially Amethyste with her big yellow pear!

Hi Catmom! Your ring was one of the ones I found and admire greatly!

My story is a little similar to yours in that my husband and I went to the jewelers for a wedding band- and our eyes nearly popped out when we saw a gorgeous 2.17 cushion surrounded by a yellow halo and a white halo. I was afraid to look at it too closely because I knew it would out of our league but my husband had to get it out of the case. He was like let''s get it! It is the first ring he has ever had an opinion on, he loves it. So we are contemplating trading in my 1.54 white radiant for it. The price difference is steep because the mounting has alot of intricate pave work on the basket (or profile, not sure what to call it)

So.. I''m doing a little research to see if we can build our own and save some money. The Ritani Bella Vita line will do a double halo like the other ring. I would also be happy with just a white halo. I never thought about a yellow diamond before, but they are so amazing in person! Thanks for adding yours!

Hi petrock: My reaction was just like yours,I was looking in a high end jewlery store that had lots of white diamonds, and then I came across the"YELLOW" just could not keep my eye''s off of it. That was over 10 years ago,and i,ve never regreted it. I,ve since learned a little more about diamonds, you can definetly get a better deal online than at a b&m store, good luck
