this is the ring that got me into this mess! I only had my phone with me, but it has a row of yellow and then a row of white around it. Not sure which style I like btter.



Amethyste- that style doesn''t sound passe at all, very classic. With a stone like that you can''t really go wrong!

David was very helpful, he really educated me on what is important when looking at yellow diamonds. I had never bought a diamond over the internet, now I,m on my third one. I might have to go to jewlery's anonymous soon.

Fortunately, I don't think you'd be alone in jewelry anonymous-I could be right there with you(if you asked my hubby, that is)

The center stone is a FY OEC, the stones need to be reset-just need to decide on a new home for them.

Thanks IndyLady! It is a really fantastic stone, has so many personalities with its crazy green fluor. I only wish it were larger(of course!) The halos are all floating so the setting allows lots of light to get to the stone too.

Here''s my ~.95ct FLY princess. I don''t *love* the setting for this stone, I would like to swap it out for something with an 18ky halo & yellow micropave. Damn moneytree won''t grow though

so the project will have to wait.

y2kitty- I love your setting! Is it just the picture, or are your halo stones slightly green-yellow? Such a pretty color!

Some of the melee stones have blue florescence so I think yellow + blue in UV light makes them look a little green???

Yikes....The Bow Tie looks MUCH worse in the iphone pictures than in real life!!!

Thanks!!! It is actually graded as Fancy Light Yellow, but I happen to think it has a bit more color to it in most lighting situations. I *LOVE* white diamonds, don''t get me wrong, but there''s nothing quite like the sparkle & rainbows that play off of a sunny yellow diamond
