This dress does look well suited to a formal wedding, however, this being said, it is INCREDIBLY beautiful. It is a lovely choice if you decide to go with it!

I hope it works for you. Good luck!

What a beautiful dress!! I love it!

It has to be the most beautiful pick-up dress I''ve ever seen. If you love it, go for it!

OK? You ask if it''s OK? It''s STUNNING!!! If you love it and it''s "the dress" I wouldn''t worry about it fitting the style of your wedding, no one is going to be sitting around saying "That dress is way too formal for this wedding!" and if they do to you-know-where with them!

I think it is beautiful and will work for formal, beach, garden or whatever. I think that the thinner embellished straps give it flexibility. You can match your accessories to fit the level of formality.

That gown is absolutely exquisite! It is so refreshing to see such creatively original and strikingly beautiful gowns.

Wear what what feels magical to you!

I love it. I think maybe doing it in the blush would make it seem less formal if you are really worried about it. I wouldn''t worry though since it doesn''t have a lot of beading or lace to really make it look formal

it''s beautiful! definitely formal though. i wore a pretty formal dress for my wedding that took place in a garden. i think as long as the overall feel of teh wedding matches the dress (formal vs informal vs casual) the actual setting is not sucha big deal.

Now that Sophia Tolli fixed their web page, I can ask your opinion on this other dress I also liked. This I did not have the chance to try on though:

Has anyone tried on Maggie Sottero Kiri? I can''t tell how low-cut it would be. The model seems so small-chested, I can''t picture what a C-cup would look like wearing it

There were some strapless I liked, but I don''t know of a way to get rid of my arpit fat! Anyone successful in getting rid of it? I swear it showed up RIGHT BEFORE I got engaged.......like a pimple before the prom or something!

Thanks for your help and opinions! More appreciated than you know.

The first dress is beautiful! But definitely too formal for a beach or garden wedding, IMO. The second one seems less formal and might be more suited to a garden wedding. However, the train might drag in the grass. I think a dress would no train would be best. IMO, the Maggie Sottero would be too formal for a beach wedding.

It''s recommended that brides determine their wedding style before selecting the dress. For outside weddings, you have to look at length, heaviness of fabric (light fabrics would keep you cooler), formality of the gown etc. You''re more likely to select something appropriate if you determine the kind of wedding you''d like to have first -e.g outside or inside? garden, beach, cathedral? traditional or funky? You''ll be able to hone in more quickly on what you need if you do that first.

it''s a beautiful dress! I love it
