Hi @jstorm...can you post the whole copy of the report (or provide a link to the stone)?

Might want to put it on hold first.

Hi, jstorm - just from the screenshot it looks to have quite a bit of CVD graining going on.
Any links to a 360 rotational video of this one?

How to find a better diamond without the aset given?

What is CVD graining ?

What sellers have you been looking at, what carat range, and what budget are you wanting to stick with?

What is CVD graining ?

Graining of the diamond material that the finished diamond is cut and polished from since CVD is process that grows diamond rough in tiny layers upon layers upon layers.

Here's a fantastic write-up by Bryan with Whiteflash about how crystal material defects carries a lot of risk and can cause serious issues to the appearance of a diamond:

Is the cvd in the corner area?

CVD is one of the two primary methods used to grow diamond crystal/rough.

CVD = Chemical Vapor Deposition
HPHT = High Pressure, High Temperature

HPHT is the (much more expensive) method used which attempts to replicate the way the Earth makes diamonds: high pressure and high temperature.

Cavalera is reasonable price. Can you help get a good one 3 to 4 carat .I wanted the hearts arrow cut which he has some on his website. The one posted above is hearts and arrow cut.

I found a 3 carat D VVS2 HPHT with Hearts and Arrows and a fiery 40.8/35.0/54 combo that is listed at that seller for under USD$1200.
Does that fit your budget?

Can you send me link to the 3 carat?

Or can you send me private email message of the link? Thank you

Sorry, was an early night for us at the DejaWiz household.
I'll be on periodically throughout the day.

Or can you send me private email message of the link? Thank you

We dont have any private messaging capabilities on Pricescope so you and @DejaWiz sort of need to coordinate together.
He's on a fair amount so it usually works out...

Can you both help me find a 3 to 5carat round blue lab with calavera with hearts andScreenshot_20250406_163203_Gallery.jpg arrow. I see one but is it good cut proportion?

I'm having a hard time reading the first two. The numbers on the 3rd one look good but we need to see an image to be
sure.

I think the very first one is good if the angles are 34/40.8.

Can you give the table/depth/crown and pavilion angles on the second stone?

Can you see if the 3 diamonds attached are good cut for blue lab diamond?

Diamond 3 proportions look pretty much spot on

Can you post screenshots of the first two from the face-up view (if you don't want to share grading report numbers) so that at least the cut precision can be generally assessed?

The last one appears to have some unevenness with the pavilion facets and I question the diamond crystal quality...there's a planar cloud in there along with the polka-dots of carbon specks.

If you're wanting closer to perfect, then you may want to scratch this one off of your short list.

This is such a great example of 'on paper stats don't tell the whole story' - thanks for sharing your insights with the forum Dejawiz

Ok to don't get the 650 ending. What about the other 2?

Thank you for showing images of pla ar clouds. What about the other 2 diamond choices?
