Is this light brown or what color or tint would you call this?

Ohhhhh so pretty I love these K faint brown diamonds, I have one in fact, it’s also a CVD. I had it set in white gold originally and switched to rose gold to try to bring out the pink.

I am obsessed with this stone at the moment! She is moody and in low lighting there is such a glow. I’ve been trying to capture it on video but my phone camera is not cooperating with me. Would you mind sharing a picture of yours in the rose gold? I bought some rose gold foil and it seemed to make the stone whiter which I thought was odd. Amy from David Klass suggested we do enamel around the girdle so I might see what all she comes up with when I send it to her - weigh all my options :)

In case anyone wants to laugh at my expense…I thought I purchased foil craft paper (rose, yellow, and silver) to place my stone against to see if the color changed. Anywho, turns out it was gold leaf and if you don’t already know, gold leaf is like a spider web - it’s get’s absolutely everywhere and refuses to come off! Currently, I’m wearing the rose gold…on my face…hands…sweater…and my son’s shirt whom I hugged…hahahahahahahaha!

Edit: also wearing rose gold, my cat! :D

My experience is these stones are tough to photograph because the camera can’t seem to capture what you see in person.

Here are the pictures I was able to find Distinctive Gem set the stone originally and did a great job with a setting I already had. When I had it reset into rose gold the setter was not as experienced so the prongs aren’t as good but I still love it.

This is so beautiful, it’s so soft and dreamy! I’m not sure if you feel this way about yours, but in most lighting my stone always looks like it’s under shade. You’re so right about photographing this stone too - what I see in person compared to what I capture is way off. I’m really curious to see what Amy recommends once she gets the stone!

@jaqjaqja, thank you, I love that description and yes mine acts in much the same way. I look forward to seeing what the completed look is once you have it set.
