And most major roads have cameras anyway. So unless you eschew driving altogether - you’re being tracked, with or without ezpass.

The point is to avoid making yourself an easy target, not to turn yourself into a paranoid hermit.

I just has to do something similar with James Allen, but their software won’t let you send it unless you blacked out the middle numbers on the credit card and your licence number.

The concern should be more about identity theft rather than big brother imo. Servers and email accounts get hacked and details exposed every day. The least we can do is make it slightly more difficult.
