Is this Sapphire windowed?

Hi All,

Just throwing this out there to the awesome community, but what are the defects of this stone?

it's about .5 carats sapphire. I see maybe an inclusion on the left hand side and maybe windowing? Not sure if it's just the reflection.

Ditto, I can't tell until I see a photo that has the table directly facing the camera.

I just read the vendor's description, and he says it is shallow, and is more brilliant around the edges than in the middle. So, I would take his word for it that it is slightly windowed.

It is showing a tilt window quite easily and is sizable, therefore I would suspect a slight windowing. Since it is a smaller stone at 0.5 ct, I doubt it will be noticeable in person. I see the inclusion as well but think it might be eye clean in person because this picture is greatly magnified. As long as it doesn't break the surface, it's probably all right. My biggest concern is that the sapphire is very dark in tone.

Others have commented on the window so I won't but I'm not liking that chip. I haven't read the description but that looks awfully like a chip to me which would annoy me intensely and I would find myself running my fingers over it all the time.

That is totally something I would do, and I would be so focused on it I wouldn't enjoy the stone...

Is it a chip or a natural? I suspect it is a natural, which has the misfortune of ending up right on the crown. The question is whether you can see it IRL. The stone is likely to be 4 mm (possibly less) so I doubt it is as visible as shown. Best to ask the vendor.

Hm...Vendor says the little left hand mark is a little bubbles that was cut. Hm...

I'm not just worried about how much darker it is in real life. I really like the color posted though! Just not sure how it'd perform in normal light.

I guess that can be considered a natural that breaks the surface. Is it visible IRL? If it is, it's not something I would purchase.
