Okay. I think I might have found a winner here. I am still a little nervous about ordering a ring strictly off of a spec sheet like I list below. This one is actually in stock with the company its from so they sent me the Idealscope, grading certificate, magnified image, and sarin report. I will attach them to the report so I can get your opinions. The ring retails at $3,960...is this a good deal? My goal is a nice diamond for under $4000 with VS2 or better, H or better, a premium or ideal cut, and just overall a great cut.

Shape: Princess
Carat weight: 1.02
Cut: Premium
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Certificate: GIA

Depth: 73.4%
Table: 73%
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Girdle: Thin to very thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.49*5.49*4.03
Ratio: 1.00

I think it looks good. Staff at JA have anything to say?

comeon gang...any other feedback here?

I think it looks like a very nice stone, and the price is nice as well.

I like it too! It definitely fits what you were looking for...

"Thanks for the kudos! This diamond is very impressive. It is a great VS2.
Please keep in mind that this diamond is magnified a billion times (not
really, but you get my point) and that in the magnified image you can see
things that otherwise are eye-clean. You are totally good to go.

Regarding the Idealscope, what you DON''T want to see is a lot of empty space
(white). White equals light leakage. However, this holds mainly true for
round diamonds. With fancy cut shapes such as this diamond, you are going
to see white due to the nature of the way that fancy diamonds are cut.
Fancy diamonds always have white areas where light leaks out of the diamond.

My overall recommendation is that this diamond is fantastic."

YOU ALL AGREE WITH THAT ANALYSIS? GOOD DEAL FOR THE PRICE?

I am not a princess expert, but it looks beautiful to me. Little light leakage, nice proportions.

Thanks...I think I might get it. Its going to cost slightly more than I was budgeting...I wonder if I can get them to throw in the basic band for free (I am going to take her out to pick out her own band).
