It is about time!

I so enjoy looking at everyone's fabulous jewellery photos that I sometimes feel that my jewellery nor my photography skills can ever measure up. Today however whilst meandering in the flower garden, I happened to notice how pretty my ER looked. So I went in and got my phone. So here it is... I know I should really work on the photography skills but the ring is my forever ring, just like the guy who gave it to me. That doesn't mean there wont be more forever rings from same said guy!!!

Heh, I know what you mean about photography skills - I always feel like such an amateur But practice makes perfect, right? And I think you're starting out pretty close to perfect already - that is a GORGEOUS ring! I would love to see more.

Thank you everyone for all the kind comments on my ring and tolerance regarding my mediocre photo. Reading the responses really made my day. One where I should have been working on an important project with an impending deadline!!!
The diamond in my ER is about 1.07 carats and it is F colour. It is only very good cut. My DH knew that cut was important (he researched diamonds at the library - no internet in those days) but for a lot of reasons (no time to discuss those) gave me this stone which was set in its original setting up until a few years ago.
It performs remarkably well under most lighting. I could not get better pictures. I'm sorry. The ones you see were taken with my phone and with, well, some resourcefulness, as I do not own a macro lens. Let's just say I'm glad I paid attention in physics class all those years ago!
I had fun taking them. It was a terrific work avoidance project for me. Thank you for looking.

Thanks Rosebloom. I do have small hands. My finger size is 3.5 and a teeny bit. I'm glad my ring looks bigger than it really is. Now if I can just erase some of the wrinkles and age spots on my hands and keep my fingernails manicured, the ring would look better too.
