you see a ring exactly like yours on LT:

I just want to point it out it is NOT mine in case anybody saw it and recognized it. When I bought mine it also featured a rose cut stone that I had replaced with an OMC. I got mine from Rozental Jewelry years ago; that isn't the seller in LT so who knows. Just an FYI in case anyone thought it was me!

That IS really weird. Maybe its a scam...

Once I purchased an A Jaffe ring from someone, after viewing many photos of different angles, hand-shots, a gia report and everything. Turns out I received something completely different with a cz center. That person must have provided me with someone else’s photos like this.

Wow I hope you were made whole. In this situation I just wondered if Rozental made another piece just like it and this person bought it and is now selling. I don't know...

Paypal came through in the end. Now I would only purchase from a seller I am familiar with.

Oh that could be...so interesting though

I do think I’ve in the past seen Rozental make a few of the same designs before.
Sometimes also selling the original antique they pulled the design inspo from, as well.

I always wondered if jewelers come here to see the fabulous jewelry and then use the inspiration or copy the designs to sell. I mean, there is a smorgasbord of good taste and fantabulous jewelry that people either designed or bought. This place is a cornucopia of jewelry. I wouldn't be surprised, your ring is definitely one of them!

I have noticed on eBay that there are a ton of low price listings where the photos are gorgeous vintage pieces but the item is clearly going to be a knockoff. You have to wonder what the buyer ends up getting.

Oh yes, that's the same concept taken to the worst extreme- they straight up steal people's photos and use them to falsely advertise- and people get exactly what you'd think they'd get.
