Awesome, I was just looking for somewhere to post these - sorry they don''t actually match the topic really, I just though they''re the cutest!

they''re from an ETSY vendor, I would so buy them if I didn''t think it a waste, lol..

Those remind me of these little creatures from Doctor Who. They''re made out of human fat!

* slight threadjack*.....

I had to post this lovely sweater, it doesn't come cheap but worth it to catch every eye whilst hanging some of these beautiful ornaments on the tree, or for Holiday parties!

DRESS TO IMPRESS THIS YEAR! Up for auction is the ugliest xmas sweater I think I have yet to see. You will certainly stand out like a sore thumb at any family get together or work xmas party wearing this sparkly one of a kind treasure. No need to worry about somebody else wearing the same sweater as you. This sweater has it ALL! It has beads, sparkles, REAL BOWS on the xmas tree and a large bow on the wreath, it has ornaments with beads and silver sparkles, rhinestones, snowflakes, etc. It is busy, gaudy, tacky, and just plain UGLY. It will definitely be a winner at any family gathering! A definite hit and conversation piece, you will be talked about for years to come. It is size small.

GOOD LUCK!

And the link for any interested purchasers.

Lucky, you weren''t joking, you had a slew of ornaments in your bag of tricks! The poop ones are so icky. The redneck baby and lucky vomit have joined me list of top contenders. That poor clown looks like it was dropped on its face and has road rash to prove it! Thank you so, so much.

No need to apologize, arjunajane! Glad you shared. They''re way too cute to win the competition but funny to look at.

Allright, TGal, you really pulled out all of the stops. I''ve been scrolling down bit by bit so I''m sure to see and respond to everyone and my heart lept when I saw the Bush ornament. I think we may have a winner.

The Democrat ornament cracked me up, that ugly lady scares me, the fly ornaments are just plain gross!

Thank you so much for your help.

Nice work to you, Lorelei. And that face that I replicated and added a Santa hat to a few years ago still freaks me out. Did you find a scary doll website? Thanks for sharing; the sweater was a great find too! How about an ugliest christmas present competition?! ha ha ha

Luckystar - I used to live down the road from the zoo that is making reindeer poo ornaments! (And..I thought they were kinda cute!)

I am laughing so hard at this thread (Tgal and Lorelei, your contributions are priceless) that I almost have tears streaming down my face. These are so hilarious, I hope this thread grows VERY long. I love it!

It''s one of my fav threads every year!

Kimberly, did you ever post all the contestants from your family''s holiday last year? You owe us at least that!!

I saw these at Gumps. Usually they have tasteful stuff, but I can''t help but wonder what they were thinking. The prices are outrageous to boot!

In case the pregnancy cravings take over your whole life, I guess. Can''t figure out why else there would be pickle ornaments.

($12.99 a dozen here)

Apparently it''s a traditional thing...whoever finds the pickle on tree...something happens, but I don''t know what. It was mentioned last year on Kimberly''s thread when I found an ugly pickle ornament.

Hi Kimberly! Did the one I found last year win??? I thought I saw somewhere that one of the ugly ones I found won! I''ll keep my eye out again this year, but just a thought, if you have a HomeGoods store near you, there are some BUTT-UGLY ornaments all over that store!!! You would be a guaranteed winner with some of those!

Cool!

the pickle is supposed to be a German tradition. The pickle is hidden in the tree branches and the first child to find it on Christmas gets a "special" gift. My mom is from a long line of Germans, but I never heard it until an Italian lady told me about it!

Gumps had one of these pickles too. Here''s the explanation from their site:

Legend of the Pickle Ornaments

Celebrate the centuries-old tradition of the Christmas pickle with these handpainted mouthblown ornaments from Inge-Glas, makers of fine glassware since 1596. Children search the Christmas tree for the hidden gherkins, with the winner receiving an extra present. According to custom, the older the seeker, the smaller the pickle. Pickles range in length from 1 3/4" to 4 1/2". Made in Germany.

I''m not sure I get the older the seeker, the smaller the pickle thing...
