J-color cushion cut on rose-gold halo

Sharing the new engagement ring first right here---don't worry, she doesn't read the forum! I dropped to J-color, found a hearts-and-arrows like-cut on James Allen that was priced WAY less than similar stone from BGD and am AMAZED with the result! I had returned my first try on a ring due to lackluster brilliance and was about to simply pony up the cash for a BGD signature cushion if this one wasn't as hoped. Don't think I'll be doing that anymore. It's has brilliance and fire like I've never seen in the other cushions I had looked at! And the J-color appears perfectly colorless on a rose-gold band.

1 carat, J color VS1/VG/VG (GIA). I included the ASET for reference given it was a bit indeterminate (black arrows?!), and the diamond photo from JA. I'm not a photographer so the pics are simply indoor shots, overhead lighting, with my phone's camera

Wow, thanks for the comments you all! I definitely lucked out finding this diamond on JA and am, oh so happy, I decided to do better after I received my first stone. As soon as i opened this one up, i knew it was the one and I, truly, can't wait to give it to the soon-to-be fiancee. I know that she will LOVE it and I'm sure she'll be so excited to show off the ring (with a hand shot ) once she gets it!

That’s just lovely and that’s coming from someone who isn’t typically a full halo fan - the rose gold really sets the stones up nicely, perhaps in a way white metals don’t. It’s a keeper!!!
