what do they taste like ?
I'm imagining custardy goodness. :drool:
@Daisys and Diamonds and @Autumn in New England The filling is not milky so it is thinner than custard. Very eggy and not too sweet.
My favourite egg tarts too, Tong Heng. It's all in the lard they used in the pastry too. Yum.... :lol:
Haha, @DiaDiva I usually place the tarts on kitchen paper to drain any residual fat, and then I don’t actually finish the pastry :razz:
