First off, let me just say how useful I've found lurking on this forum to be when picking out an engagement ring. Now we're looking for a wedding band. We've looked at a bunch in person and my fiance prefers the look of a thinnish (say 2.5-3mm) band with channel set diamonds and milgrain. Online, one option seems to be at James Allen:
http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/Wedding-Rings/Ladies-Diamond-Rings/Platinum-0.28ct-Channel-Set-Diamond-Wedding-Band-item-1516 . A customer service person said they could add milgrain, but she didn't have any pictures available of how this would look at actual size. So I guess my questions are (1) does anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with James Allen wedding bands (and in particular, but not limited to, those with milgrain added) and/or (2) other ideas and possibilities from different vendors? Thanks very much!

Thanks for these suggestions. I think you're probably right it's a good idea to go with a vendor that has experience with milgrain. Did you have a particular reason for preferring bead set to channel set in this context? I think the look is pretty similar, so we'd be open to both types of settings.
