Also, have to say I love Tiny Jewel Box, I have some pearl earrings from them.

Well, winternight, you won''t have far to go!!! Any suggestions for some indulgent yumminess (preferrably of the chocolate or cupcake variety) near TJB? I was thinking fondue at the Melting Pot, but I don''t know what size groups they can accommodate at the Dupont location...

I just found out that I have to do Girl Scout cookie pick-up at 8 am that day. I am up near Philly so it takes me about 2 1/2 hours to get down there. Any way we could meet at 12 or later? I''d hate to miss this because of the damned cookies!

We hadn''t discussed time yet, but we can definitely do it in the afternoon!

The Tiny Jewel Box is open from 10-5:30, so we can definitely do sparklies around 2 followed by yumminess at the Melting Pot or another awesome bakery/coffee/chocolate spot.

So no worries, C-tek, it''ll be afternoon-ish!

Not GTG related, but I just wanted to let all the DC Area gals and guys know that Restaurant Week is January 11-17 this winter! One of my favorite non-jewelry or flora related times of the year!!! Hope y''all can get some great meals on the "cheap"!!!

Well... I hate to do this but it looks like there is a good chance my husband''s company holiday gathering is going to be that day. Its a 3 hour drive each way and I would only be able to stay until about 3/330. So I might need to bow out. I''ll let you know for sure one way or another fairly soon. I''m sorry to do this since I feel like you were so nice to accommodate my schedule in the first place.

This works for me and I''m looking forward to it! I''ll have to think about other spots in Dupont. There is a cute new French place right on the circle, I''ll have to investigate the menu. Its casual and has long tables and Prosseco as well as coffee.

Kramer''s Books and Afterwards Cafe is sometimes croweded but has a good dessert menu, lots of ice cream and pies and cakes, plus coffee and food for whoever might want it. There is also a Cosi (or two) in Dupont which is casual. The Melting Pot in Dupont is pretty big, but I''m not sure whether reservations would be needed or not.
