whoops! sorry i didn''t see your question. thanks for bumping.
usually i wear my e-ring w/ diamond band. but sometimes, i switch them out. if i do, the plain band goes with e-ring & diamond band gets worn on my right hand ring finger. i''ve never worn all three rings together. i don''t have enough finger estate for that

WOOOOOOO thank you :) Although I am sure you are thrilled could tell me about your ering? Is it a nice heavy setting. It looks beautiful...Did you like working with Whiteflash ?? How long did it take to get it? Sorry so many questions. I just love your setting :)

I mostly lurk and don''t post often, but I couldn''t stop myself this time! Your pictures are breathtaking. Really and truly breathtaking.

oops. didn''t realize you couldn''t post on it. thanks for the compliments. yes i do love it. sometimes i wish this or that were different, especially after seeing all the pretties on ps, but at the end of the day, this is the setting i wanted from the beginning, really.
i''m not too sure how long it took to complete. we purchased the stone and discussed the setting and from there i was kept in the dark until proposal. maybe a month? really don''t know for sure right off hand.

are you thinking of a remount or a new ring entirely?

Jcrow, sorry if I missed this posted somewhere else since I have been MIA lately, but did you send pics into some magazines?

just the knot.

Hey, that's nothing to sneeze at! Is it in the "Real Weddings" section online? I have to go see!

Woo JCrow, thank you so much for answering me back. I have been gone all week.... Yes, I am really thinking about going back to plain and classic.... I have a beautiful setting I bought from Lynn B and am thinking of putting a colored stone in it for RHR... I have been thru several looks in the last 3 years and think I really just want to go back to the classic look like you!!! Your set is timeless...... I love it!!! It makes your diamond look HUGE!!!! .....of course it is huge! That''s why I wondered if you were happy with the wieght and craftsmanship... :)

can''t go wrong with classic

i do really love the head. it''s visually interesting, yet still classic and simple. it flows very nicely and softly.

Thank you so much !!! Your head is just beautiful.....Is your ring knife edge I am trying to talk the hubby into the change :) We''ll see !!!!

yes all three of my bands are knife edge.

Do you think my stone 1.61 would be to small to carry off such a nice heavy setting?

definitely not. and i personally would inquire about making the shank thinner. wf not suggested not going thinner b/c of the stone size. i think your diamond would look wonderful in this setting!

did you have your shank shaved down ?????

yes. i don''t remember exactly how thin. let me see if i can dig up the emails. the info is probably in my ring thread too.

I will read over the thread.... Your ring is porportioned beautifully!!! Your stone is much bigger than mine so I probably definately need the shank thinned... Thank you for telling me that .

i think it''s 2.5 mm. i could be mistaken though. i think i originally wanted 2.3, but leon recommended not going below 2.5 b/c of my stone size.
so yeh, if it were me, i''d inquire about 2.3 mm and see if they would recommend doing it.
