Ok, gossip lovers, I guess the word is out. Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn are now an item and they are not afraid to show it.

From today''s NY Post:

October 20, 2005 -- Score one for Team Aniston.
The wrenching heartache of losing hubby Brad Pitt to Angelina Jolie is officially over - Jennifer Aniston is hot, heavy, and very public with Vince Vaughn.

And, judging by these exclusive People magazine photos, she couldn''t care less who knows. Jennifer, 36, and Vince, 35 - who for months have dodged rumors they are an item - casually strolled arm in arm last week as the actor took his squeeze on a tour of his boyhood home of Lake Forest, Ill., and brought her to meet the folks.

While their future together is anybody''s guess, it''s certainly sweet payback for Jennifer, who was crushed when Pitt, 41, began a very public affair with Jolie after they met on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

Vince and Jennifer also met on a movie set - well into her separation. As they filmed "The Break Up" over the summer (right), sparks began to fly.

At the time, Jennifer and Vince both dismissed any chance of a romance, with the former "Friends" star insisting to Elle magazine that while her co-star was "delicious and funny ... I don''t want to be a rebound girl."

But that''s exactly what''s happened. One morning, they were seen relaxing on the balcony of Jennifer''s Windy City hotel room. During one tender moment, caught here, Vince faced his sweetie, wrapped his arms around her waist and stared into her eyes.

Jennifer quickly brought her hands to his face, placing them on his cheeks before the lovebirds launched into a passionate make-out session.

"Vince brings out something in Jennifer that brightens her," a source tells People.

"She''s constantly belly-laughing when they''re together. It''s a joy to see."

What exactly is she bouncing back from? The reality that she needs to be with someone in her own league? Or the idea that her ex is with someone in his league? Unless you are best friends with Brad, Jen, Angelina and Vince, you are basing your judgements on rumors. How do you know Brad cheated? How do you know Jen is an innocent party? How do you actually know what happened when you''ve never met these people? Oh wait...if it''s on an article with pictures, it must be true.

It must be nice to get a pity party and pep squad when the tabloids portray your ex-husband as a cheating a**hole, and the world believes it. I think it''s interesting that the paparazzi has managed to stalk Brad and Angelina all the way to the secluded beaches in Africa....and still find nothing. But they''re supposed to be engaged now? Come on! Look, he just wants to play with a kid! His biological clock is ticking, and Angelina needs a baby sitter. Can the man play with a kid without it turning into some type of twisted tabloid story?

Is it a coincidence that these Jen/Vince photos are released just when "The Break-Up" is due to be released? They were denying rumors while filming, but overdoing the PDA now that the movie is ready. Something''s definitely off.

I''ve had a thing for Vince V. since that movie "A Cool Dry Place"...where he''s a struggling single dad and his kid smells like pee because he put the urinal cake in his pocket! Funny and sad movie!

Back to the point! I''d take Vince over Brad Pitt any day of the week! He has the best lips, and that sense of humor, plus you have all that 6''5" freaking gorgeous bit of him! (I''m pretty tall, so that makes him extra hot!! I once went on a date with a bodybuilder guy who was 6''6" and that was the only time I''ve ever felt petite in my entire life!)
