HI Steel, I hope you don''t mind me re-igniting this thread, but I was hoping to pick your brain over your lovely pendant. Have you received it yet? I would love to see more pics!
I have a newly acquired OEC that I would like to have set in a bezel pendant, and Erica Grace are certainly on my short list.
Do you mind if I ask how does the chain attach to your pendant, or does it thread through..? Also do you have much issue with flipping?
Happy Anni again, and I hope you don''t mind all the Q''s !
Hey there Steel, thanks for the info!Date: 11/28/2008 10:59:56 AM

The chain threads through, but it does pass right by/on the stone which would not have been my first choice. I don''t imagine the chain rubbing would cause issues but didn''t expect that.
When you turn the bezel over you can see the prongs holding the stone in from behind.
Yes it flips alot. I have not worn it for more than a few mins but it does flip like crazy. However the back is open so from a distance it sparkles anyway.
Over all I love it. I like that the bezel is slightly imperfect, I think a perfectly circular bezel would take from the age of an OMC.
Give me a week and I will have it back in my hot little hands...
I suppose it depends on your requirements and your expectations...Date: 11/28/2008 12:00:24 PM

So the chain actually touches the stone huh...? Hrmm. as you say, doubt this could cause an issue but not sure how much I like that, KWIM.?
So just to clarify hon, re the highlighted - it has prongs as well as the bezel?I always thought a bezel was just that holding the stone, no prongs. Would you mind to explain for me?
Thats a real shame that it flips so much - I was really hoping this would be ''the one'' - although it seems you still love yours , right?
