Just for reference, bottom band is 1.8 and top is 2mm. Both are really delicate. Add a huge stone and even the 2mm feels a little off balance on my hand.

Thank you everyone for your input!! I'm going to ask DK to tuck the basket slightly - I don't mind the gap but don't want it too large! Thanks again!

Here's an update!! We had him tuck the basket - we're increasing the band width this is just an old CAD - and we also are going with 3 diamonds instead of 1 on the side.

Any final suggestions welcome!

Ah thank you so much!! I am VERY anxious to see my ring too.... but my SO is keeping it a surprise. The last thing I've seen is the CAD I posted above from DK back in July! Promise to post as soon as I get it
