Oh boy... another July 11th here...

I feel like the list is never ending. I hit the one month mark, and the last things seem insurmountable! Lots of breathing. Lists help!

To do:
Finish programs
Ceremony we wrote is now being translated into German to hand out in written form
Seating chart
honeymoon itinerary for our cruise...excursions, etc.
Here''s the killer....writing the schedules and timelines for the weekend (destination wedding)
OOT bags-most everything I will buy at the destination and assemble there. The folder of maps, brochures and schedules I still have to prepare.
OOT welcome letter.

print our "rehearsal coctail hour" invites...they go in oot bags

Final headcount
List of guests, travel dates and contact info
Flower girl basket and faux petals

Waiting to see if we have to reschedule the time for our wedding rehearsal...and rehearsal cocktail hour. Hope my friend he pianist calls to confirm his schedule soon!

Just had our final meeting at the venue. *phew* the owner was lucid and with it. She''s ancient and more than a little senile. Ahhh one less thing to stress about...

This past weekend, was my last major weekend home for planning. We met with the Reception coordinator and got EVERYTHING put together on our venue checklist. Linens, Buffet menu

, table layout, timeline, and set-up. We just need to provide her with guestbook, bridal portrait and any other pictures for display, toasting flutes, candles, and cutting utensils at our next/last meeting, which is the Tuesday before the wedding!!!

Next trip home is the weekend of June 10th. Which will include getting marriage license, meet with minister, BACHELORETTE PARTY!!!, couples' shower, music selections, and I'm sure some more things that I can't remember right now.

It's getting so close and I CAN'T stop smiling!!!

FI yelled back at me as he walked out the door this morning... "MONTH AND A DAY BABE!! LOVE YOU!!"

Toooo cute! I just overheard FI on the phone saying "MY WIFE Debbie...!!!" -woah! That was so cool to hear!

LOTS to do here...luckily I have the summer off so I dont feel stressed at all...Other than the fact that one of our groomsmen leaves for Amsterdam in one week and FI still hasnt gotten them dressed! LOL

We got our marriage license today! Yikes...it''s getting real! Today I also picked up my dress from the seamstress, took it to get it spot-cleaned, and had the final meeting with the DJ.

Hudson, don''t know if this has been said already. But Hydrangeas can be a PAIN. They wilt so quickly sometimes. Make sure you get really good instructions how to keep them fresh and happy.

Thanks Gypsy. I''ve heard all about it. I''m just using them in our ceremony arrangements, so they''ll be in a vase of water as opposed to hand/held bouquets.

These are the updates. Everything in italics has been completed.

We got ALOT done this weekend. Bachelorette Party (check), Couples Shower (check), final meetings with florist and cake lady (check), met with minister (check), song lists for DJ (check), and even started on my Thank You cards so that we can have them out before leaving on the honeymoon (2 week gap)!!!

I only work until Friday and then I''m off the entire week before the wedding. I have been perfectly fine up until now, and I''m starting to get lots of butterflies in my tummy... yuck

My wedding is this Saturday... 5 days away!!! I can''t believe it''s here. I''m surprisingly not nervous so far. I really hope it stays that way. Everything is done. I''m going to email/call all my vendors and confirm delivery and arrival times and I go to the venue on Wednesday just to finalize the details.

I can''t wait!
