Weather was supposed to be bad today so I decided since I am going to be in Vegas all next week with Paul and John and tens of thousands of other people for the JCK Jewelry show that I would come in to the office and check in the diamonds I just received and other "chores" that I normally do on yucky weather weekends when I am not fishing or kayaking.
Well, the wather has been incredible all day with some late afternoon thundershowers forming up now.
Been a great day though. Seems that many of the diamonds have Very Strong Blue Fluorescence, so I have spent much of the day walking outside with the stones one at a time securely held in a spring loaded holder to see how they look in the sun. WOW!
For a fluorescence lover this has been a great day. Sort of a grown up play day.
Then I got to talk to Richard Homer who is joining us in Vegas and we talked about his lovely daughter and other things, non of which had anything to do with jewelry, but were a wonderful way to spend some time together. You could almost smell the BBQ that he was describing in the back yard. Yum, too bad Ohio is so far away.
Now my wife has called and said she bought some fresh caught Alaska King Salmon for dinner. Said she wants to give her "vet" a proper Memorial Day''s Eve dinner.
Yes sir, I think it is really just another FINE day in Boise today.
I hope you are all having a fine day where ever you are too!
